Took only a month

It worked right away. The image will appear on the connected device after everything is connected according to the instructions. However, the HDMI end got hot during use and stayed hot after unplugging it. Only after I turned off the power did it cool down. So I used this thing once or twice a day for a month and one day it just died. The image is not transferred to the connected device. My iPhone no longer shows that it's charging when the Lightning connector is connected to it and the power connector is connected to an Apple charger.
