I'm confused. Gizmo Dork's Filament prints better than Inland and Matterhackers, but doesn't hold up as well to outdoor storage. I've gotten smoother surfaces and better lugs from Gizmo Dorks, I've been able to tighten tolerances in my designs and get a tighter mechanical fit out of it. But only half of the spool could be used before the spool became "crispy". It starts to break in the Bowden tube when the filament straightens out. You can see that half of the thread is green and the other half is turning white, like microscopic cracks/strains are forming. Other brands don't print as well, but they never go bad. The gizmo dorks gave me a much tighter fit on the pressure travel mechanism, it's impressive how much better it worked, but half the spool is now useless because it just snaps before it hits the extruder. Yes, I have an airtight "dry box" with desiccant and sealed filament tubing, I only use it for nylon and ABS spools. We all have an insane amount of colored PLA, so storing PLA in dry boxes just doesn't make sense. The color of this green is reminiscent of a happy green apple flavored ranger.
