The fit and finish is what you would expect from Knipex - near perfect. The polish is perfect but as it is not chrome plated it needs to be rubbed down with oil from time to time. The nubs are pleasant to the touch, although the springs could be a bit wider and a bit more powerful, but that's definitely not a problem. The blades are very sharp and cut a single hair anywhere on the blade. I'd say they're near perfect for the price, but they don't quite compare to the Tronex or Swanstrom cutters, which have even more precise blades, better hinges, and limiting screw stops, but you pay a lot more for either.
