Review on APEC Water Systems HBB 20 Housing by Dang Esq

Housing quality looks good. My 3M brand 4-1/2 x 20 filter fits fine, no problem. Two problems: 1. About 2 inch of thread in the cap (for the case) was broken. It looks like it hit the case in transit and the box wasn't damaged. So insufficient packaging design.2. Neither the case nor the mounting bracket (sold separately) come with fasteners *and* neither do they come with instructions telling you which screws to use. The 4 mounting holes in the cover are 0.28 diameter x 1-5/16 deep and are unthreaded. So 5/16 x 1-1/4 screws should fit. Use washers or flange head screws. Other Notes: The body and lid are marked "Made in China" which is interesting as they have a "Made in USA" sticker on them. I don't know what "assembly" you're talking about, but the parts are Chinese. Comes with an O-ring (I wasn't sure when I placed the order). I don't see anything about the NSF certification, but both the lid and body are marked Polypropylene.
