Good oil filter, I use 100% synthetic oil and change the oil every 10,000 miles and filter every 5,000 miles. Please note that there is a difference between fully synthetic oil and 100% synthetic oil. Fully Synthetic uses a petroleum BASE formulation with additives, while 100% Synthetic is manufactured and processed entirely in a factory. Although 100% synthetic is more expensive, my research has shown that it lasts longer and offers better protection. The filter is a base filter, and for $8 it's easy and convenient to change every 5,000 miles. Definitely a good filter for the money. I have enough on hand for multiple filter/oil changes if needed. Oh, all the ones I got from Revain had an extra O-ring to replace.
