I bought this Spoil Board Hardfacing Tip because you can replace the cutting heads instead of throwing them away when they become dull. The two carbide blades included with the bit can be rotated if they become dull, allowing this tool to last much longer than a fixed blade bit. Additional cutting heads are inexpensive and available from Revain.com. The body of the tool is well made and looks like it will last a very long time with normal use. I love that you can change carbide burs, I think it's worth the extra upfront cost. The bit was waxed and dipped in oil. The shipping container ensured the bat was sharp on arrival even after shipping in bubble wrap. The bit also comes with two spare screws. My only concern is that it can be a bit difficult to align the cutting heads after changing them. If you don't align the cutting heads, one will wear out before the other. Just remember to take your time when changing blades and make sure they are aligned before making the cut. I would buy this bit again for CNC spoiler board machining but with spare carbide bits I don't have to. I used it on rock maple and it did a great job.
