4/2016: This gas cap is definitely real. Everything about it was identical to the original GM gas cap it replaced. I was going to put them side by side, take a picture and upload it to the review but I was too lazy and just threw away the old cover. The AC Delco was $21 versus $35 at the GM dealership. For over two months I've been concerned about my tracker losing power while driving and wanted to rule out the possibility of a fuel cap issue. Of course, the cap wasn't the problem, but I wanted a perfect seal just to rule out the cause of a worn gas cap, and I'm glad I got it. (It turned out that the problem was the "air mass center" in the throttle body [body?] and they cleaned the throttle body [body?] and replaced the gasket. Now my tracker works great.) I'm pretty sure that I can Btw it detaches and returns let's say the new cap provides a better seal.
