Review on 🔹 CHENLAN Lite-on DG-6M1S DG-6M2S Xbox One Blu-ray Disc DVD Drive Replacement - Original Model by Cody Michels

I bought an old xBox One on sale for $30. It didn't come with the controller and she told me beforehand that the drive wasn't working, but everything else was fine. I tried unsuccessfully to fix the drive based on several online videos so I ordered this drive. When replacing, instead of soldering the motor wire to the new board, I cut both wires and twisted them together, then used heat shrink tubing on them. Put everything back together and everything worked great. The two hex screwdrivers that came with it were actually pretty good, but the plastic lever snapped off right away. A small Phillips screwdriver was useless as well. I removed the end of the very first screw. I've included a picture of my drive cover to show the ones I replaced with these as I didn't know what I needed myself. I also added a few tests when I got it, including a weird update message and one where I was testing a hockey game disc. He did a great job with the hard drive part of the setup.
