The rubber on the underside of the clip broke when tightening. They certainly won't fit in my large 15ft seat kayak. They are not wide enough and bend like a recurve bow under their own 90 pound weight. I have half a dozen kayaks and wanted something built specifically for big SOT boats for my big guy. Although they claim to be them, they most certainly are not. After the test load, I went to unload and due to the flexing of the wing, the kayak fell to the ground. If you have a really big seat kayak avoid it at all costs, it's not as durable as the $50 jhook.
