So, when a hose breaks, I like having a spare repair piece, like the Joywayus Hose Barb, handy.Experience has also taught me that using a solidly constructed, well-thought out brass repair piece like the Joywayus ¾ hose barb always give better long-term results, especially when compared to the plastic ‘repair’ pieces that are all too common on the market.The brass of this piece appears to be thick enough to hold up without any ‘deforming’ at the contact points. That, for me at least, is critical since I almost always, yes, even with ‘barbed’ repair pieces, add a clamp to each end of the repair for extra ‘hold’.For repairing a garden hose this Joywayus Hose Barb is a must-have to keep around the house ‘just-in-case’ it’s needed
