Review on 🔒 Enhanced Velox Rim Tape for Better Quality and Protection (2-Pack) by Dennis Goozmer

This material is thick and stays in place. I like the level of protection that Velox offers. I consider it a heavy duty application and depending on the quality of rim you are using you may not need such protective protection. Most recently I used this tape on a set of 29" Alex discs that came stock on a 2008 Rockhopper. These are budget rims and the finish isn't very good, leading to a lot of pinching. But I've seen high-end drives. which are incredibly smooth and well finished inside and to that end I think you can opt for a thinner/lighter rim tape.
