Review on 🔧 Compatible Dorman 911-700 Vapor Canister Purge Valve for Select Mazda Models by Scott Larson

I think some other reviewers have specific models that this part will not work on. While Revain says it will fit, you should check if you have California emissions materials or post 6/2007 build as those parts are obviously different. However, I'm not sure what could be different. As for the part, the build quality looks just as good as the OEM. The plug at the end was different from the normal one. The OEM style for me was a red retaining clip, and this Dorman part has an internal blue clip. It works differently, so maybe other people had problems with it. Instead of sliding the hose end on and then clamping it like the OEM does, you have to take the blue clip out of the fitting, install it on the inlet, and then slide the hose fitting on until it snaps into place. I had an issue with the rubber mounting part on the solenoid itself as it was upside down the wrong way, but it was easy to take it off, flip it over and put it in the right position.
