I used it as a water jug for every day. After just using water in it the wooden lid got mouldy, black mold and I didn't notice it until after I drank the water and it tasted really bad! When I told the seller what happened, they said they would send me a stainless steel cap instead. I emailed on January 30th and received another cover just 2 weeks later. Also the new stainless steel lid is not very suitable. I'm very dissatisfied with this purchase but it's too late now to get a full refund. It would be great if it had a different cover.
