Take an old set of R22 gauges and screw them on to create a set of AC gauges that will work with either type of system. I love that they can be attached to service ports like an air line and then the valves can be opened with adapters. This means I can connect to the system at any time and not worry about the high side pressure being too much to put on a cheap line and removing is just as easy. I will not use any other set of sensors without such an adapter.
