Review on Dorman 38448 Door Striker Bolt by Marvin Short

I don't usually write reviews. I felt obligated here. I didn't mess around with this product like others did, just followed the advice. It is obvious that there is an oversized bushing on this part. I followed the previous reviewer's advice and I'm glad I did. I removed the old bushing. I bought a piece of blue Plexiglas tubing from a home store for $2. I cut a piece that matches the length of the Dorman jack. I used a 12mm deep socket and pressed it into the stud. The stem is now a bush and is the PERFECT diameter for the door latch. After 5 minutes my door no longer rattles. It's totally tight.
