Review on 🔥 Improved Natural Gas Unit Heater: Mr. Heater F260560 Big Maxx MHU80NG by Kurt Manning

This is my second Mr Heater, I also have a 50 BTU unit. The 50,000 worked for 3 weeks before stopping and this one worked for about 1 minute. I lit it and it worked great. The fan wouldn't turn on the next day. Was on hold for about 45 minutes before I left a call back number. They'll call me back, ask me a few questions, and then say they'll send a new PCB that my other board needs too. I am generous in giving them a 3 star rating but I mean the cost of the device which is really good value for money. I really like the heater, I just don't know if I can count on it. Every time I called them while they were on hold, the record said they were getting an unusually high volume of calls. Since they clearly know they are selling an unreliable product, it would be nice if they hired more technical service advisors. I probably spent 3-4 hours with my other heater between waiting, diagnostic time and actually replacing the board. If you don't like working on things, you might want to look at another brand. If you decide to purchase, simply arrange your own diagnosis and repair. Update 29th January 2020 - Called 3 times to diagnose this heater. It works, but the problem is that it turns on and off every 30 seconds to 2 minutes or so. I was asked to check the voltages at the input and output of the board and check the pressure in the water column. The last guy made me turn off the pressure switch and bypass it. The heater worked for a few minutes while he was on the phone so he sent me a new switch. I installed it and it still loops. Return to phone for long hold and unusual ringtone volume. They called back a few hours later and said they would send a new control board. 03/25/2020 New control board installed. The heating goes on and off constantly. I will not be calling this company again. I still heat my shop, just not as efficiently as it should. Generally not very satisfied. I paid a new price for a brand new heater and wasted hours of my time on something that never worked properly and never will.
