I love these lights. They're bright. The rubber boot helps seal any hole you need to drill to run wires through the case, while the hard plastic case keeps water out of the flashlight. The supplied hardware simplifies the installation. You don't need to apply marine sealant to "stick to the body" like you do with LED running lights because the tape will eventually lose its adhesion. There are plastic caps covering the screw heads to allow for a nice and clean installation. Since there are two of each color, I have a set installed on each of my boats. If you don't have a second boat, you can use the spare red LED as a chart reading light at night. For this application it would be perfect.
