Good sockets but older sets seem to have better finishes

Looks good but older sets have nicer finishes. I have several old sets in 3/8" and 1/2" metric sizes. The older sets have a much smoother finish, but I'm sure these will hold up just as well, if not better. I oiled them lightly and it helped some. The finish soaked up the oil straight away. In any case, as long as they stand up to actual use, I'm happy with them. Slightly older sets hold up great and can even be bought cheaper. I didn't have to use their guarantee, but I've heard it's top notch
