I ordered this lock and sent it back due to the weight and size. This thing is a beast and great for locking up your bike at work/home or in a high crime area. But carrying around a padlock is torture unless you strap it to your chest like machine gun bullets in a war movie. If you find that you need this chain for safety reasons, you should consider buying a cheaper bike for the location you are parking it. If your bike is so good you need this lock, some asshole will take it anyway. The added weight and security will give the grinder a few more seconds to cut the chain, or maybe they'll cut your bike in half quicker and sell the parts.
