I received the windshield and everything was in good condition. There were no tears or missing parts, it came in a nice storage bag and packs away very compactly in the trunk. Snow and Ice finally got around to trying it and it worked great. My windshield was very clean and has mittens to cover the side mirrors. I have a Volkswagen Passat and the cover was very good as it also covered my front windows. The material is thin and doesn't dry very quickly so I had to keep a large bin liner in the trunk and lay the windshield on it to dry before folding it up and putting it back in the bag. I'm happy with it, I don't know if the thickness makes a big difference, it did its job well and that's all I'm worried about. definitely saved me time early in the morning without scratching my windshield. Of course, it's not designed to be heated, so please don't buy it like this. It is easy to use and was very easy to install.
