after 24 hours of riding both boots began to tear horizontally at the outer ankle. Not where the sole meets the boot, but at the ankle itself. I know how many times I've used them because I have a digital record. I paid $199.00 for the same pair of skates sold directly by the company for less than $100.00 and I only went to Revain because I wasn't sure how sizing would work and I needed a way to easily return them in case they weren't fit because I bought them on 9/2020 when we had uncertainty with the COVID disaster. I suggest you buy skates from a physical store, call them, speak to the seller and have them help you determine your size and ask them your honest questions about the skates you want to buy. Don't be fooled by companies who want to take advantage of you by not blaming anyone for mistakes and shortcomings in the manufacture of their products, or by someone who is a third party who has your money and expects the buyer to make their legitimate grievances accepted and requests for replacement or repair directly to the manufacturer. The skates were great while I was using them, now they are useless and while I am making some sort of contact with the manufacturer I am buying another pair from another company so I can skate in the meantime. These are really very basic skates and without any flaws they are perfect for the beginner skater who doesn't know if he really likes to skate and doesn't want or can afford to buy a good quality pair of skates. Also, the trucks are very tight when they arrive, there is almost no play in the wheels so definitely have a skate tool handy to loosen them.
