Review on 🔧 Sprint Jet Single Piston Air Compressor by Iwata-Medea Studio Series by Dawn Fischer

After 15 years of faithful service, it's time to replace the Iwata #1 with the Iwata #2. Iwata #1 was used heavily to support the hobby of making scale models with Badger 200 and 150 airbrushes, typically at 10-20psi with enamel paint. After 15 years, the pressure in No. 1 began to drop slightly; and when the compressor itself fell to the concrete floor, it was time to replace it. The bleed regulator that came with this model has always worked great for me in combination with the 6 foot air hose. Briefly flirting with the governor with no blowdown was a problem due to 1) increased compressor vibration (hence the bottom event); and 2) the compressor ran much hotter than it did with the flow control. After a month with #2 I'm looking forward to #3 in 2033.
