Review on πŸŽ’ Guardian Shock Pack by Gabriel - Model 81891 by Tim Surridge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great ride for the price.

Today my mechanic put them on the zip. It took longer to remove the old ones because of rust. The rear of my '97 Jeep ZJ is much better. Sure, spend $60 at Sears for the same damn thing for a shock. Check online if you don't believe me. Revane slaps them on the arms. I will come back in a few months and let you know if there are any downsides. So far only pluses for them. They look and feel pretty much the same as the stock shocks that I removed from the rear. So far very satisfied. I thought I ordered the front ones and need the rear ones anyway so I just left them and put the rear ones in their place. My mechanic told me they fit the rear and not the front like I thought. Yes! That's why I have a mechanic who does this for my car. Installation was easy and he took the old ones off and put the new ones on in about an hour more or less. never mind Now I need to buy 2 new front tires after getting the Gabrial front shock absorbers I just ordered. The handling should also improve a bit. Bulged tires are dangerous and make for a very bumpy ride. Pooh! Good Jeep, crappy ride until I got new shocks. Only the installation of new rear made a big difference of course. I can't wait to put on my fronts too. Definitely should drive like a new jeep. I chose Gabriel vs. Monroe after consulting with some of my mechanic buddies. They said Monro is good if you want to replace her with all the other jerks. I bought a jeep a month ago and am converting it for the winter and since I have refurbished this 97 and will be keeping it for a while why fit any lower shocks? I can't tell front shocks from rear shocks, but I'm no fool with my money, well-sssssssssssss-. ---
