This isn't made for really aggressive play - it will get torn if you use it for tug-o-war - but it is a fun seasonal toy. Its brightly colored and squeaky to be engaging to our dog. She likes to grab it and shake, and since its soft I'm not worried about her bonking her head with the free end or damaging something in the house. If you only bring it out for Christmas and don't let the dog be too rough with it, the toy will last for several seasons at least. A nice stocking stuffer for pet parents!
