This is now the second WaterPik irrigator that we have purchased, and the first one is still operational despite suffering significant cosmetic damage. The WP-660 model is fraught with calamity. A circuit with a low current is activated when the button on the irrigator is pressed. I used Ali to place an order for a new transformer. I will attach a switch to the cable of the lamp so that it may be turned off during the hours when it is not in use and then turned back on before it is needed. I'll keep an eye on how long we have access to this choice. Two years ago, I paid $8 for it when I acquired it. It appeared to be a highly pricey option. Today there have been 25 requests for it. That doesn't even cost that much money, especially considering how unreliable it is to a middling degree.
