I bought both the 8 port and 5 port versions and have been using them for a few months now. No issues and throughput seems to be at the level they claim. My internet connection at home normally runs at around 900 megabits per second and I get that speed without the switch and when I go over the switch I don't see any slowdown caused by the switch. The installation is completely trivial. You turn it on, plug in your connections and you're done. If you want to mount it on the wall, just insert two screws and you're done.
