I'm an artist and I love being able to sharpen colored pencils exactly to my needs. This makes the sharpening nice and smooth and gives me lots of length and width options. It's a good size for portability and has a 'closed' setting to prevent the shavings from falling out when you want to put them in your pocket or tool box. The plastic is quite strong, but I see a possibility that it will crack or chip with heavy use. Overall though, I think it's a great pencil drawing tool and I expect it to become an essential part of my artist's toolbox.
