Review on Wintape Workbench Self-Adhesive Measure Tape by Dee Parson

I've attached this to the top of the sewing table on the edge I'm sitting on. After a few months the clear coat started to peel off and when I took it off a lot of the markings were gone. The glue came with Goo Gone and some elbow grease. On the plus side, the adhesive worked pretty well and the tape is thin. If it is used in places where it will not be subject to abrasion (even from fabrics), then everything should be fine. I replaced it with steel strap (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0025Q0KAC). It's thicker but will hopefully last longer; I will revisit this volume in about 4 months to see how it has held up compared to this one.
