Just to start, I have two of these drives on my non-RAID server running 24/7. To be honest, in terms of size, price and durability (about 25 months now) they are very good... BUT, one of the hard drives I use for parity check gets very hot (42C idle; 46 °C). c+ in operation) compared to the sister disk, which oscillates around 38°C. That's a big difference in thermal performance and I feel like there's a greater chance of failure. So I recently contacted the manufacturer to see if they could replace it. I was glad to see that they responded and asked for details about the disc. I replied and the next message from them was two sentences saying the 1 month warranty had expired (2 year warranty I think). I think it's not scary but it's sad that 1 month has passed. I felt the discs were good value for money, but in the future I'm leaning more towards high quality discs. Of course you're paying twice as much, but I'd rather spend double the price now and it will last 5 years or more compared to what I'm doing now to prepare my system in case the drive fails. Hope this helps someone!
