Updated 5/5/2021. Today I discovered another problem. I just bought a Ryobi One+ battery powered cordless tire inflator/deflator. The new inflator has a screw on the tire valve cartridge. The inflator rod that comes with these valve stems is unthreaded and I cannot use my new tire inflator with these valve stems at all. My old inflation compressor was a clamp compressor and worked fine. Nice looking stems and valve covers. The flush look and chrome finish go great with my chrome rims. If you buy these you will probably need 5 o-rings for them, Danco #5, for caps and a fill tube adapter. The filler will flow around the threads and the o-ring will stop this. My little compressor that plugs into the cigarette lighter will inflate the tires and has an auto shut-off that you set the pressure for, but it won't turn back on. Do you need to be there when it shuts down or there is a leak around the base of the fill adapter allowing air to escape? I put a rubber o-ring on the adapter tube and the flow stopped. I had to buy 10 packs of o-rings and they also fit the caps and they seem to make the caps more secure. Not sure why they don't include o-rings and caps for inflation adapters with these valve stems, but it makes them much, much better.
