Had to be returned in hangers, clamps and flanges
Had to go back as I needed a zip tie to fit the end of the muffler that the 3" OD pipe goes into. NOBODY seems to make a band clamp for this application so I ended up buying C clamps old style ones that fit, they don't distribute the clamping forces as evenly and they look ugly.
- A band clamp is a wide band of metal, usually stainless steel, that is wrapped around the exhaust pipe fitting. Our products are preformed rings and are now more commonly used in high end automotive systems that use a slip fit because they are relatively inexpensive and can be reused without damaging the tube.
