Can suction cups work too well? These definitely do. The easiest way is to slip a piece of cardboard or paper towel under the mat to fill it, then place it on the dog's floor or freeze it. Otherwise it will stick to the counter and make a mess when you pick it up. Aside from the powerful suction cups, it works great. Dogs love it and are happy when they see or hear the suction cups.
