Review on Bond LH015 Mini Handle Shovel by Jarod Berthelson

A strong shovel is good for shovels

My wife and I were rowing on a hike; It took about an hour to sail to the island where we made camp. We had a late start so we took a limited amount of supplies on the kayak. It took a little longer as some motor boats were going around and there were big waves. When we got to the island it was hard to tell where the place was; We saw the sign and walked towards it. The sign may have been a place in the past, but wasn't when we got there. As it was getting dark, we decided to set up camp. I used this shovel to clear the area. Initially, I looked at these folding shovels with about 1000 extra attachments. On paper, these other shovels would be a much better choice; However, I know how rough I am with tools and I'm very glad I went with a regular shovel instead, even if it means bringing extra tools with me. It's very strong and a good price. I ended up using it to dig a few holes and it works great. Update: This little shovel was used during the Uri winter storm. Helped me shovel snow and break and move ice under my car so I could get started. I dug up a few people and gave some to borrow. Definitely a lifeguard! Big size; I hid it behind the seats of a 2005 Silverado Single Cab that already had a lot of stuff behind the seats. Everyone I've used it with loved it and wanted it for emergencies. Funny, I originally bought this to bury rubbish and other bits and pieces when camping but haven't used it for that yet - light camping usually has toilets. 10/10 highly recommended.
