Bond LH015 Mini Handle Shovel Review

After reading reviews warning of trouble with a sticker, I ordered and prepared for war with a sticker. I pulled out a heat gun, a jar of adhesive remover, cleared a spot on the workbench and a half hour on my schedule. I unpacked the box and noticed the infamous label. It looked innocent enough, so I peeled back the corner and slowly pulled. THE DECAL COMES IMMEDIATELY! You must have responded to the reviews? The shovel is super and perfect for a camping trailer.

This seems to be the most common off-road shovel, but it's not a problem at all. The shovel itself is solid, feels good in the hand, and is small enough to mount in the pickup bed. I like that the Bond shovel feels more stable when in use and doesn't "wobble" like some of the more portable folding shovels I've tried before. Maybe some tools aren't designed to be folded for best results - and I have a feeling this shovel works great because there are no fancy gimmicks.

Good shovel, but it comes in about 4 pieces. The handle is plastic, the central red part (appears to be metal) and the dark part of the shovel (metal). There is also a collar (silver metal) that secures the shovel and central (red) part. I thought this shovel would have a stronger 2 piece construction, handle and shovel. I bought this shovel to keep in my Jeep Wrangler, to help people who are stuck in the snow and for general camp use. This is the perfect size for this purpose. I give this product 5 stars because of the excellent customer service I received when I got the shovel have received. This is a very well made tool and if you are looking for a SMALL shovel I highly recommend it. It's also a great shovel if your daughter or son wants to "work" with you outside or create their own little garden.
