Nice design but flaws

I was looking for a well designed but good value kettle. My last one was great until I let it dry for about half an hour, oops. But this one looked very promising. A hole large enough for a person to put their hand through to clean the kettle and whistle. A must have for me as I often go back to work while the water is heating up. Everything looked fine until I tried it the first few times. In all cases, the lid did not close tight enough to hum the whistle when the water boiled. All you have is plenty of steam on all sides of the lid and no whistling. Another minor point of criticism is the trigger that opens the spout. It has a rubber-like sleeve that slides over a metal trigger so your finger doesn't get hot and burn. He likes to slip easily. It's not that hard to put back on, but you have to be careful how hard you pull the trigger to open the spout. The silicone grip is cool to the touch and works well. The stitching and the quality of the stainless steel appear to be good. So if you buy one with a properly fitting lid, you might end up with a perfectly usable kettle. Do I really have to buy a $100+ kettle in England to get one that works properly? I'll keep looking until I find one that just boils water, whistles, and doesn't rust. Stainless steel kettle, RestoHeats fast, well made, no rust (owned since June and now December, has water in it all the time) Big enough to put your hand in (small to medium :)) to clean and looks great heavy on Find. Revain needs to pick up the composition!
