Missing valve cores

I did not receive the R134a valves as described. Now I have the tooling, the old valve is removed and no new valve needs to be installed. It's Sunday evening, 7:00 p.m. And I have to be at work by 6 o'clock. If I didn't have so much trouble getting the old valve on the tool to clean the ball valve, I would just put it back in for later. But it took me an hour to put tape on the end of the tool to get it out.
