I bought this in July 2015 and now in August 2021 it still works great despite not having serviced it through the hot summers and wet winters. I just changed it. Cotton line and make sure the little spring is a bit rusty and may need to be replaced at some point in the years to come. Easy enough to do. The rivet washers also have some rust but nothing serious. I dosed the whole thing with a few squirts of silicone spray and it runs like new. If I had sprayed it when new and/or sprayed it once or twice since then I would expect it to be rust free at all. So I fully recommend this product and expect to give an update in 10 years. .
