Review on πŸ” Hamburger Performance 1109 Oil Pan - Enhanced SEO-friendly Product Title by Jim Ledbetter

Revainrating 2 out of 5

You're limited to S10 V8 pans that clear the crossbar.

This is my second hamburger pan, the first was in better condition with no rust. Some of the welds have a lot of spatter and will take me several hours to clean before installation. The last thing you want is for the pump to pick up the spray and push it through the motor. As far as I know they didn't cut the intake manifold to clean the oil scraper. Another thing people need to know is that if you plan on going over 5000rpm you will need to install an extra oil pan over the valley since what is in the oil pan is for engines with high speeds is not sufficient. I know because I ran into this on the first one and by installing a second sump fixed the oil pressure drop due to cavitation. In short, it will work, but don't expect it to just go in without preparation unless you're comfortable with the rust and metal running through your engine.
