The rug pad itself is great! Very easy to cut, we used fabric scissors and it worked fine. The 7/16" is just enough cushion without being excessive and softens up the rug enough. I recommend leaving at least 1 1/2" on all sides for the rug to have enough room to lay flat. The pad itself does not have a strong smell and stays put on our hardwood floors as stated in their description. The rug is easy to vacuum and will extend the life of our rugs I am sure.I purchased this for a 6c9 area rug in our living room and it worked perfectly. The seller had great communication and made sure that the purchase and quality were what I expected. I would absolutely purchase again from Rugpads USA and recommend their products to anyone.
