I bought this for under a thin area rug. It works perfectly! It’s nice and thick, and feels great to walk on. And it keeps the rug from slipping on our hardwood floor. Durable, thick pad. Holds area rug in place and added thickness enhances the feel underfoot. I was worried it might create a tripping hazard, but it does not at all. Great product!

We bought the thicker one and it made our carpet lift up on the corners and we kept tripping over it. So I decided to get the thinner one and it works just as the thicker one, the best thing is that it dont lift the corners of our carpet so its perfect.

We place these under our area rugs and they perform very well. Creates a nonslip surface underneath while also adding some needed cushion. Will order again when needed.

I used to be able to find waffle foam rug pads that actually provided cushion. That was from Home Depot or Lowe's. This pad made my flat pile performance rug feel so luxurious! Very nice quality. I gave it 4 stars because I found it difficult to trim with scissors. I did it but it was very slow.

I had already received my area rug but wanted a pad to ensue there was no slipping or movement. I ordered a 10x13 pad with an expected delivery date of 12/23. My guests were coming on 12/21 so I contacted the seller and asked nicely if it was possible to speed up the delivery. to have it here by 12/21. Have purchased this pad before, used under rugs over hardwood. Makes an inexpensive rug nicer & Better rugs . On small rugs in kitchen, I used a small pc. of "Alien Tape" in each corner, rug to pad.

This is a great pad for smaller rugs but it doesn't do very well for larger ones for whatever reason. The pad doesn't do a great job of sticking to the rug so it separates often and you can trip on it.

The rug pad itself is great! Very easy to cut, we used fabric scissors and it worked fine. The 7/16" is just enough cushion without being excessive and softens up the rug enough. I recommend leaving at least 1 1/2" on all sides for the rug to have enough room to lay flat. The pad itself does not have a strong smell and stays put on our hardwood floors as stated in their description. I bought this because a rug I bought was so thin I felt like I was walking on the tile floor not a rug. I bought the 3x5 because that is the rug size, it was slightly bigger in the length by about an inch so I just trimmed that. And there is no movement because of the backside, no slide. Love this padding, will buy again if I buy another rug, next time I will purchase at the same time so I don't have to worry about the rug sliding around or feel like I'm walking on the tiles.

I can't believe I lived with a thin rug pad under my bedside wool oriental rug for so long before finding this wonderful felt pad. If the additional height with the pad isn't a problem for your space, don't hesitate to buy it. My rug feels so much more comfortable and plush. Well made and easy to cut to size.

I purchased this to go under a rug in our nursery. I was looking for extra cushion and anti-slide. It does a great job preventing slide. It does not move at all. It doesn't provide much cushion though.The rug with the pad does not seem any softer than the rug without the pad. I might have returned it to try something else, but my pregnant self it tired of having to move and adjust the rug and the nursery furniture. I'll settle for knowing that it's very unlikely that I will slide, trip and fall
