I have a Harbor Freight 3 ton flat jack. I recently bought two machines with welded jacking points on the edges so I bought these to jack up. When I got it the shoulder diameter was too big to fit in my jack so I took it to a bench grinder and cut about 1/8 inch around the shoulder, rotating the part in my hand. This kept it fairly round and the material came loose easily. Now it fits right up to the jack and works great. Only a month old but so far I like it and it was worth it because I didn't scratch the underside of my car. I think it will take a while as the material is very thick.
