That compression wrench was just annoying and has room in my toolbox for one.
I used to just puncture the filters with a flat head and remove them that way. This compression wrench was just a nuisance and was taking up space in my tool box for such a rarely used tool. It's 2018, why are they still selling filters with no nut on the end? Beginner.
