Depends on what you're grinding.
In this project a freshly applied white gelcoat was wet sanded on a boat. The abrasives somehow discolored or soiled the gel coat during wet grinding. I can't understand why? But for this project I wouldn't use it if I were to do it again. I think if the color was dark everything would be fine.
