It lasted about 2 1/2 years with light use. It was the radio from my garage. If it is now connected to the network, it will show "E" and turn off. Very disappointed. I have a 1970's AM/FM radio that I still use and it works great. This Sangean had great sound, great volume, and I love the digital presets that allow me to quickly switch between my news station and my music station. If a digital car radio can last 10 years without failure, I don't see why the fixed radio in my workshop can't work the same way. Now I'm back to using my radio from the 70's. Choosing radio stations is annoying, but at least it works. For the money I expect better durability. Before his death this was a basic 5 star product. Death after only 2.5 years reduces it to about 1.5 stars. I loved it while it lasted but I will not replace it with a product from the same brand and will not recommend it to anyone again.
