We have several types of cameras on our property and also have these available for rent. Some are of the older wired type and use a central box, while others are standalone cameras that either connect to a router or connect wirelessly to Wi-Fi at each location. This new all-in-one is great. It supports wireless and wired connections and is ready to use. We returned at least 10 cameras because we couldn't connect them to the network using the app they SHOULD use to connect. This system is plug and play and the only cables are, as expected, the power cords to each device. so we can hide the cables to the power supply on each one, otherwise it would be a whole system. The seller was GREAT, we needed info on adding more cameras (this NVR can work with 8 cameras but only 4 are included) and they responded quickly and also shipped as quickly and it was on time as expected. We'll discuss upgrading a few more of these since they're so easy to use and set up that we don't have to hire someone to run the cables for the rental. Just connect the NVR to the router. Good buy.
