This stuff is fantastic if you follow the directions and are patient with the install. It adhered better and is easier to cut than other films I have worked with as a DIY, non-crafty homeowner. It also comes with a razor and squeegee to help with the process. When you cut the film, it doesn't snag or produce jagged edges when done right.I found that using a spray bottle full of soapy water works well with generous application. A hairdryer helped after re-positioning the film following cutting it. My only real gripe is that it bends to the shape of the roll and can be kind of difficult to work with when you're initially laying out the film to shape to the window. There's not really a more efficient way to ship such an item, though. It can also wrinkle quite easily if you mishandle it, so just be gentle and take your time. The end result is fantastic, even when I (who can't draw a straight line with a ruler) cut to to cover one of those goofy octagon windows and keep the sun out of the bedroom.
