Review on Bilstein 24253161 Shock Absorber: Enhanced Suspension Performance for Ultimate Driving Experience by Jason Vigen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

solid product. Shock absorber

Spray some WD40 on the 3 screws to be loosened, then jack up the truck, jack up the truck (on the frame closest to the shock absorber to be replaced), remove the tires, loosen and remove the 3 fastening screws of the existing ones Shock absorber, remove the old shock absorber, add a new Bilstein 5100 shock absorber, tighten three new bolts, reinstall the tire, tighten the wheel/rim bolts to secure the tire/wheel to the vehicle , raise the truck, remove the jack, lower the truck approximately 45-60 minutes per bump, take a test drive where you can immediately see the difference between these shocks, then tighten the bolts after the first test drive. In comparison, Bilstein 5100 rear shocks take about 1/3 the time of front shocks because the tire does not need to be removed. Bilstein 5100 is just great.
