This is the best solder I have ever used! It's really amazing how it can affect your soldering. Oh, and yes, there's lead in it, which is good! You'll be fine using this stuff, probably not worth eating, but you'll be fine. A good flux inside makes a big difference too, I rarely have to reach for my flux pen. And this diameter is the ideal general purpose size for most wires from 10 to 30 AWG and for all through hole electronic components as well as SMD components. Great item, you won't be disappointed.
