Man on a 3.0 liter V6, doing this job off site is a headache. I decided to replace it in the parking lot where my wife broke it. If I had a pneumatic wrench it probably wouldn't hurt as much. It is very difficult to turn the bottom bolt and tensioner more than 1/8 turn with hand wrenches. None of this relates to this product. After installation it showed about 12.5 volts on the battery, after which I lugged it home for additional diagnostics. After checking all the fuses and wiring harnesses, it was determined that the voltage was wrong. As my roommate and I talked about the failed exchange, the stress started to improve. After 5 minutes of work it jumped to 14V. But I do hear the occasional squeak, and when the AC and headlights are on, it won't charge below 1000rpm (that's in the 12.5V range). It could be a faulty A/C compressor clutch stressing the system, I can't pinpoint where the squeaking is. But with no load, the new generator did not provide the correct voltage after the first replacement. Maybe it just needed to be broken in. As I said in the title, Review is not out yet. I hope it works fine and maybe I have other issues causing problems. It's a 2001 Camry after all (assuming it only has 130k and I was convinced those cars were good up to 200-300k).
