Review on Amazon Basics 23A Alkaline Battery by Candice Lohan

Bought a box of these and they seemed to work but not very well. Finally I took four loose from the box and four more in plastic wrap and put them on a multimeter to check their voltage. The voltage of the two loose batteries was 1.3 volts and the voltage of the remaining six batteries was 1.4 volts. For comparison, I took a couple of brand new Energizer batteries out of the packaging and measured them. They were all the expected 1.6 volts. I can't say the Revain batteries were DOA at 1.3-1.4 volts, but I can say that that voltage is very disappointing. Don't buy them, no matter what the price.
